The Roof Shampoo® process is completely safe on your shingles and the environment. It does not contain sodium hypochlorite (the chemical name for bleach) that is found in many roof cleaning products. The LOW PRESSURE wash delivers a gentle rinse to remove any algae or moss. No more dirty shingles. No more UGLY roof stains.
Roof Shampoo® is the eco-friendly cleaning solution that does NOT contain bleach. Many roof cleaning companies claim to be eco-friendly, and yet they’ll cover the vegetation around your home, or wet everything down, before they begin work on your roof. This can only mean one thing, that they are using a chemical that is toxic to the environment and to your grass and plants. Most of the time, the chemical they are using is bleach. They may tell you that their product is “sodium hypochlorite“ which is merely the chemical name for bleach. Bleach is damaging to shingles as well as to vegetation and in many cases will even void termite control warranties if used around the home. If you are unsure about the product being used, ask the contractor to show you the product MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). We will always be happy to show you ours.
